At BVI Beach Villas we aim to provide the best hospitality and accommodation for all our guests, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to not only accommodate, but to cater to those with disabilities to ensure they have an enjoyable vacation experience. We do this by having luxury accommodation and provide access to the beach and sea at Mahoe Bay on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.
Many villas on Virgin Gorda are located on hills, have stairs, and a rough terrain, so it is difficult to find accommodation that is suitable for the physically challenged and has access to the beach and sea.
BVI Beach Villas has taken several steps to ensure that we can comfortably accommodate physically challenged, paraplegic and quadriplegic guests. We aim to deliver a stress-free experience that caters to our guests needs, making for an amazing vacation experience and wonderful memories.
BVI Beach Villas properties, Blue Lagoon Villa and Beachcomber Villa, are wheelchair accessible. This includes access to the living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and patios. The bathrooms provide access to a wheelchair in the shower area with handheld showerheads and overhead rain heads. At no additional cost, we offer our physically challenged guests:
Feel free to contact us so we can provide more detail on room layouts and to answer any questions you may have about our villas.
We understand that navigating your way to the British Virgin Islands can be a challenge when living with a disability. We recommend that physically challenged guests book with Island Birds charter directly to Virgin Gorda from the San Juan Airport (Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport). Island Birds accommodates physically challenged guests on their 9-seat airplane and will ensure you have a safe and comfortable trip by assembling a team to meet you at the arrival gate, collect your luggage, and help you get on and off the plane with ease.
